Jared started his 20-year commercial real estate career with the Situs Companies, where he gained valuable expertise underwriting billions in CRE assets across all major property types for debt, equity and M&A transactions. Jared went on to join the acquisition team at Weingarten, a publicly-traded REIT, where he closed $135m in shopping center acquisitions and managed the firm’s relationship with a Dutch Pension Fund. Jared has been primarily focused on the multifamily industry since 2014 where he has extensive experience in all aspects of the deal cycle – acquisitions, financing and capital formation, asset management and dispositions. Prior to joining TRA, Jared served as Director of Investments at Ascension CRE and VP of Acquisitions for S2 Capital. During this time, Jared has sourced and closed more than $350m in acquisitions, managed more than $200m in dispositions. In 2026, Jared was appointed by Mayor Whitmire to the Board of Directors of Houston Housing Finance Corporation, a non-profit corporation established by the City of Houston with the mission of providing decent, safe and sanitary housing at affordable rates for Houston residents.
